Auckland Council Proposed (private) Plan Change 166
The Te Arai area is currently under a special Rodney District Council zone that limits housing in order to preserve the ‘remote, non-urban character’ of the area, and also to protect the rare birds that breed here. So the applicants have asked for a Plan Change to give them a special exemption from this zoning.
